Two local community centres facing closure have been saved after the council awarded them £50,000 each.
The Prentice Centre had already announced it would close this week and Drylaw Neighbourhood Centre was due to close this month.
The emergency funding was unanimously agreed by councillors at Thursday’s full council meeting.
This vital cash injection will give both organistations time to look at longer term sustainable funding.
