David Beckham has sent a message of support to a local kids football team ahead of their virtual Player of the Year event tonight.
The former Man Utd star, 45, wished the Spartans 08’s Red’s well before their event tonight.
The clubs Twitter account shared the message where Beckham said “Hi Spartans Reds it’s David Beckham here.
“I just want to say I hope you enjoy your Player of the Year dinner tonight.
“Maybe one day when I’m in Edinburgh next I can come and see you all play.
“In the meantime keep working hard guys and have a great night.”
