A tree outside Drylaw police station had to be cut down today after becoming unsafe in high winds.
Drylaw police station was closed for several hours and part of Ferry Road was closed until the tree was finally brought down.
The latest incident comes just a day after a taxi driver had a lucky escape when a tree toppled over his taxi in Davidson’s Mains yesterday.
