A teenager will appear in court today following an alleged serious assault in Pilton yesterday afternoon.
The 17-year-old male was arrested after an 18-year-old was allegedly attacked in Ferry Road Drive just before 4pm.
A spokesperson said: “Police in Edinburgh have charged a 17-year-old man in connection with the serious assault of an 18-year-old man after officers were called to the Ferry Road Drive area at around 3.45pm on Monday 30th September.
“The 18-year-old was taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary by the Scottish Ambulance Service for treatment.
“The 17-year-old is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.”
