Spartans women’s player, Michaela McAlonie, has been shortlisted for the April Player of the Month Award in the SWPL.
Michaela, 17, is currently enjoying her second season at Ainslie Park having joined the women’s team aged just 15 from Hearts Ladies.
Spartans WFC Head Coach, Debbi McCulloch, said: ““Michaela has shown her versatility as a player over the last month by playing in several different positions for the club where she has had to adapt her game to benefit the team.
“Her free-kick against Forfar last month showed her quality from set pieces and the ability she has to score important goals for Spartans.
“Michaela continues to grow as a player and leads by example with her effort on and off the pitch.”
