Locals have set up an online petition in their bid to save the Drylaw Neighbourhood Centre from closure later this year.
The local project that opened its doors in 1995 looks set to close in July if they can’t find core funding of around £80,000.
The centre provides a range of activities for local people ranging from groups for older people through to After School Clubs.
In 2019 a decision was taken by the Council’s Children & Families department and the Edinburgh Integrated Joint Board not to provide any further financial support to the Drylaw and Telford Community Association, the organsation which run the project.
