Two males have been detained in the Clermiston area overnight after being found in suspicious circumstances. Police Scotland detectives are making enquiries to confirm if they are involved in relation to recent thefts by housebreaking.
Another male has been charged with an attempted break-in at an address in the Oxgangs area.
Also two high value vehicles have also been recovered following thefts from Auchingane and Weavers Knowe Crescent in Currie.
Further they have recovered three stolen vehicles with a estimated value of 100k from an area in the West of the city and have one male in custody in connection with these thefts.
