Police are hunting an armed robber who robbed a local tanning salon earlier today.
The thief struck at the Indigo Sun salon in Davidsons Mains at around 11.30am.
Police officers are standing guard at the front of the building.
This is the second salon to be robbed in the area in recent days.
On Friday night the Tanz Tanning salon in Cannonmills was robbed just before 8pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received report of a robbery at a premises on Main Street in the Davidson’s Mains area of Edinburgh around 11.40am on Wednesday, 1 September, 2021. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
