Police close parking area at Silverknowes beach

Police officers have been stopping people from parking at Silverknowes beach and instructing folk who arrive in cars to leave.

One man was issued with a ticket for failing to leave when the officers spoke to him.

Barriers have been erected to stop cars from parking.

A team of police officers were seen sending cars away who arrived to go for a walk.
