Police are investigating after a shed was set alight on the grounds of Granton Primary School.
The Fire service attended at around 1pm today and extinguished the fire which is now being treated as deliberate.
There was no damage to the main school building.
A spokeswoman for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called out after reports of a shed being on fire that was within the grounds of Granton Primary School.
“The fire has been put out and crews have left the scene.”
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said “We were made aware of a shed fire at Granton Primary School, Edinburgh, around 1pm on Friday, 10 July, 2020.
“The fire is currently being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.”
