Would you like to help make a difference to the lives of those who live in North Edinburgh?
They are looking to recruit new members to the Board of the Pilton Community Health Project (PCHP).
PCHP provides joined-up practical support to local people so that they can improve their health and quality of life. Services on offer include counselling, support for vulnerable families and activities that encourage residents to eat well, stay active and create a friendly and inclusive community.
The Board exists to provide strategic guidance and support to PCHP’s dedicated staff. Board members are expected to attend two-hour meetings every two months, and are also encouraged to join one of the Board’s sub-groups (communications, finance, fund-raising, risk).
Anyone with experience or skills that they feel can help PCHP grow and develop is welcome to apply to join the Board. At present they would particularly like to hear from anyone with a background in fund-raising.
If you feel you have something to contribute or want to find out more about what’s involved please contact
Graham Rae, Board Chairman (theraes@live.com)
or
Jen Richards, PCHP Director (jenrichards@pchp.org.uk / 0131 551 1671)
