Hibs player, Jamie-Lee Napier, has been crowned the Scottish Building Society SWPL Player of the Month for October 2019.
She wins the award for the first time this season after having been nominated for May 2019.
Napier played a full 90 minutes in all three league matches in October, scoring four goals in the process.
Hibs scored 22 goals in October with comprehensive victories over Forfar Farmington and Rangers.
Speaking yesterday, Napier said: “I’m delighted to have won this award, especially after missing out earlier in the season. October was a strong month for us a whole and I’m pleased to have played my part in the success.
“We were slightly disappointed with our league campaign however, we appreciate that the competition has got stronger.
“Celtic pushed us all the way and Glasgow City nearly went undefeated. With that in mind, we’ve ensured we finished runners-up and reached both domestic cup finals.
“Given the changes we’ve gone through as a squad, I think we can be proud of our 2019 season.”
Hibs confirmed their place as runners-up in Scottish Building Society SWPL 1 after victory over Forfar Farmington on the final day of the 2019 season.
