Local youth worker, Paul Crawford , has called time on his youth work career at Fet Lor after 27 years.
Paul , who is known as Craw, was dubbed Mr Fet Lor due to the length of time he has worked at the centre.
He made the announcement on the organisations a Facebook page yesterday.
Craw joined the team at Fet in the late 90’s when he agreed to do a shift helping out at a youth disco.
Since then he has worked with hundreds of kids and helped the organisation transition into their new building.
He wrote: “With a heavy heart I have decided to hang my Orange Fet Lor Jumper up after 27 years in youth work.
“I have had the most amazing journey ever. I have had the opportunity to meet and work with so many young people who have helped me become Craw and I have helped them become who they are on their journey.
“Through this I have created a lifetime of memories, treasured experiences and relationships with everyone.
“Fet Lor is my second family, even more my second house, a place where we support each other, grow together and most importantly laugh together.
“You know I love a cuppa and chinwag, please save the date 1st February 2025 2pm – 5pm, to join me for my Celebrational High Tea.”
