Police have confirmed that a man has been found dead inside a property in Muirhouse.
Officers attended the flat on Muirhouse Park at around 4pm today and discovered the 57-year-old.
Officers remain at the scene as they carry out their investigation.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said “Around 4pm on Tuesday, 12 January, a 57-year-old man was found dead within a flat in Muirhouse Park, Edinburgh.
“Officers are currently at the scene carrying out enquiries.”
