Police have confirmed a man has been arrested following an alleged robbery of a local shop last month.
Police issued an appeal following the alleged incident a newsagent in Montagu Terrace in Warriston on the 9th May.
Today a force spokesperson said “A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
“He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, 29 June, 2020. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
