A man is due to appear in court in connection with several alleged deliberate fires in the Silverknowes area yesterday.
The 30-year-old was arrested last night and is expected to appear in court later today.
Emergency services were alerted to four cars that were allegedly set alight at various streets in the area early yesterday morning.
