The KFC at Craigleith Retail Park will close this weekend.
Staff were told about the news last month and sign on the door confirms the shop takeaway will close it’s doors for the last time this Sunday.
It’s understood that Burger King will take over the unit and work will begin next month with a view to having it open by the end of the year.
A planning application for work has been lodged with the city council and is currently being assessed.
Nando’s have also been granted planning permission to open a restaurant in the former Clarks shoe shop but we are unaware when that will open.
