Police have launched an investigation after the body of a man was found in Granton earlier today.
Officers were alerted following the discovery near Granton Crescent Park just after 10am.
A section of the park and steps have been sealed off with officers standing guard.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.20am on Tuesday, 22 September, 2020, the body of a man was found near Granton Crescent, Edinburgh.
“Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death are ongoing but it is not believed to be suspicious.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
