The Edinburgh Samba School have taken to social media to appeal for information after their van containing various drums was stolen overnight.
The white Ford Transit with registration number, ST10 XJA, vanished, from the Blackhall area.
As well as their drums the van also contained various other equipment.
The band are due to travel out to Germany next week to take part in a Samba Festival.
