Police Scotland can confirm that two men have been arrested and charged in connection with a major drug recovery in North Edinburgh.
The recovery of heroin, executed today at an address in the Stockbridge area of the city, is considered to have a street value of £23,000.
The men, aged 21 and 32, will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, June 1.
Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Houston said:
“This was major recovery, which has removed a significant amount of heroin from the streets of Edinburgh.
“We remain committed to tackling serious and organised crime, and to keeping people safe”
“We continue to target those who pedal drugs in our community”
