A cyclist has been taken to hospital following a collision with a motorcycle on Ferry Road near Davidson’s Mains.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident just after 5pm today.
The cyclist has been transported to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment.
The road has been closed to allow a full investigation to be carried out.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said “Around 5pm on Sunday, 13 June, police were called to a road crash involving a pedal cyclist and a motorcyclist in Ferry Road, Edinburgh.
“Emergency services are in attendance and the male pedal cyclist has been taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
“Ferry Road is closed in both directions.”
