A child has been knocked down on West Granton Road near to Morrison’s
Emergency services this afternoon raced to West Granton Road after a young child was struck by a car.
A local Resident told North Edinburgh News
” I called 999 after a boy about 10 years old was hit by a car, he was talking away to us and had a head injury”
” Ambulance and Police arrived very quickly and the young boy was taken away to hospital”

A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said
” Shortly after 2pm this afternoon we received a 999 call to attend road traffic accident”
” We attended alongside Police Scotland, a young child was conveyed to Royal hospital For Sick Children in a stable condition”
