A Racheal Boyle strike deep in injury time ensured that Hibs picked up all three points against Spartans at Ainslie Park this afternoon.
It was the first game of the SWF season and one that new Hibs manager, Dean Gibson, would be keen on winning.
Neither side created any real chances to open the scoring and it looked like the game was going to end goalless.
But in the 93rd minute a Hibs attack saw the ball delivered to Boyle in the box who slotted beyond Rachel Harrison so seal the victory.
